TROPICAL STORM PAULA ADVISORY NUMBER 7
NWS #WIKI-HURRICANES/HURRICANE CENTER WIKI AL182010
830 AM EDT TUE OCT 12 2010

Paula continues to strength out in the Western Caribbean. However, rapid intensification is not occuring like last night. Satellite Imagery shows a easily pin-pointed center somewhere in the immediate vicinty of 18.1N and 85.4W. Satellite Imagery also shows that the intense convection is spiraling around it, and the convection is strong. This, combined with many other factors I will not list, is enough to upgrade Hurricane Paula to 80 mph. There have been no changes to the watches or warnings at this time.
