DiscussionEdit

Due to a lack of convection, and thus a poor satellite representation for quite a while now, Hurricane Nate has been downgraded to a tropical storm. Nate is currently struggling with dry air in the Gulf of Mexico, but otherwise conditions are conducive for further strengthening. Tropical Storm Nate's LLC is currently exposed and so Nate is no longer expected to become a major hurricane. Nate should hold it's intensity for a bit before strengthening back into a hurricane on Sunday or Monday.
